Driven with the burning passion for promoting the significance of sustainable development in business and fashion, Huela, a start-up company, was made possible by twelve Grade 12 Accounting and Business Management (ABM) students from St. Scholastica's College Manila.

Huela is a Spanish name that means easy-going and nature-friendly. With the increase in the number of polymers waste materials, this company was established for the sole purpose of helping to reduce its negative impacts on the environment and developing ways to reuse these waste materials. Huela Co. promotes utilizing renewable materials and the significance of sustainable development in business and fashion.
